Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
- Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across distributed systems.
- Operate and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance, backups, and high availability.
- Use AI-assisted tooling and automation agents to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on deployment patterns and runtime reliability.
- Automate operational processes and participate in architecture discussions focused on infrastructure scalability and resilience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure; experience with both is a strong plus.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and a deep understanding of containerization and distributed systems.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and observability systems.
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, backup and restore, and high-availability experience.
- Production experience with Redis for caching, session storage, or pub/sub.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, system architecture, and high-availability SaaS environments.
- Experience with Grafana dashboards and alerting, monitoring, observability, and incident management.
- Experience collaborating with backend engineering teams and an automation-first mindset.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English are required.
- Preferred qualifications include DevSecOps, AI/ML infrastructure, cloud cost optimization, GitOps, multi-tenant SaaS, both AWS and Azure, Bash or Python scripting, and French.
