Responsibilities

  • Build the DevOps and observability roadmap for the Data and AI teams.
  • Design and build reusable cloud infrastructure using Terraform or alternatives such as Pulumi and CloudFormation.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, security scanning, deployment strategies, and rollback.
  • Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads, including autoscaling, ingress, secrets, and policy.
  • Build observability systems covering metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and SLO-driven alerting.
  • Implement cloud security, compliance, identity, secrets-management, vulnerability-scanning, and policy-as-code controls.
  • Lead on-call incident response, runbooks, post-mortems, and continuous reliability improvements.
  • Partner with developers on local development experience, internal platform tooling, golden paths, and self-service.
  • Support the internal Dataiku platform and services used by Data and AI teams.
  • Shape platform standards, participate in design reviews, and share knowledge across India and U.S. teams.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container tooling.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go, plus solid SQL skills and strong familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance practices, especially in PCI-compliant or regulated environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across concurrent projects, time zones, and on-call rotations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience includes Dataiku DSS, Snowflake, service meshes, API gateways, zero-trust networking, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, FinOps, ML or LLM workloads, database administration, and cloud or infrastructure certifications.
  • Experience in loyalty, martech, adtech, or another data-rich B2B domain is preferred.
