Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for named strategic accounts.
- Help shape and drive customers' AI strategies.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to enterprise customers.
- Consult on modern Lakehouse architectures and implement proofs of concept.
- Develop account strategies and execute them to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and account teams across regions.
- Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks-inspired open-source projects.
Requirements
- 12+ years in data engineering, data science, or technical architecture.
- 8+ years hands-on experience with Big Data and AI technologies.
- Strong hands-on architectural experience in building end-to-end solutions.
- Experience with large enterprise or Fortune 500 customers.
- Experience with digital-native or SaaS enterprises is a plus.
- Strong consulting experience with external clients across industries.
- Coding experience in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
- Experience building distributed data systems at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud.
- Willingness to travel to customers regionally and internationally.
- Prior experience in a Global Capability Center model is a plus.
