Responsibilities
- Interpret complex customer problems and build scalable product solutions with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Design, build, and maintain customer-facing capabilities across desktop and web technologies.
- Develop integrations with CAD and PLM platforms and support Mechanical Engineering Lifecycle workflows.
- Design product features based on customer requirements, product strategy, and UX designs.
- Improve tools, architecture, and development practices to support reliable software delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
- Champion performance, usability, reliability, and user experience.
- Contribute to product vision, technical direction, and roadmap discussions.
- Mentor and support other developers through technical guidance and feedback.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience with production-level SaaS or desktop applications.
- Proficiency with Java, C#, and/or Python and object-oriented languages.
- Experience with version control, release management, and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is an asset.
- Experience with front-end build, package-management, and testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, or Cypress is an asset.
- A track record of building and maintaining highly scalable products is an asset.
- Experience with CAD integrations or engineering workflow software.
- Experience with Mechanical Engineering Lifecycle or Product Lifecycle Management software.
- Experience with mechanical revision management, design collaboration, or engineering change workflows.
- Experience developing integrations between CAD, PLM, ERP, or other engineering systems.
- Experience programming or extending PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA, Autodesk Vault, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting CAD plugins, desktop extensions, or engineering productivity tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex PLM/CAD integration issues and work with engineering data, BOMs, part management, document management, access control, and engineering change management.
