Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain low-level firmware that controls electronic hardware.
- Configure and optimize low-level drivers and communication protocols.
- Write hardware abstraction layers based on schematics, datasheets, and reference manuals.
- Use hardware debugging tools to isolate and resolve complex operational issues.
- Perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and document firmware architectures and API interfaces.
- Reverse engineer software, configure platform-specific solutions, and collaborate with hardware, electrical, systems engineering, and cybersecurity teams from prototyping through mass production.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in bare-metal programming, microcontrollers, and debugging tools.
- Experience writing and maintaining efficient, testable code in C and C++.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools including JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital multimeters.
- Ability to analyze hardware schematics, component datasheets, and reference manuals.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of firmware engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, electrical schematics, PCB design concepts, Python, Bash, automated testing, build environments, secure boot, encryption, trust zones, and Top Secret clearance.
- A master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
