Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs and simulation, emulation, and IV&V applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements development and design through testing, integration, release, installation, and maintenance.
- Provide leadership in solving complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with program management, external suppliers, government customers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders while communicating technical information effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline is required.
- For the Engineer level, 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 0 years with a master's or PhD is required.
- For the Principal level, 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, 3 years with a master's degree, or 1 year with a PhD is required.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Ada, or other object-oriented programming languages is required.
- Proficiency across the formal software development lifecycle from requirements through testing is required.
- Candidates must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of War Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with VxWorks, Embedded Linux, board bring-up, FPGA and board design interfaces, electronic warfare or radar software, hardware integration and testing, digital signal processing, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, LabView, and QT Creator.
- Experience managing the work scope of a software-centric technical team and interfacing with customers or stakeholders is preferred.
