Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight software and simulation, emulation, and IV&V applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, modeling, design, coding, unit testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership and solve complex engineering problems within a cross-functional team.
- Perform software/hardware integration and testing, including requirements analysis and derivation of software design and test specifications.
- Interact with program management, external suppliers, government customers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
- At least 12 years of direct relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10 years with a master’s degree, or 8 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Ada, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Proficiency across the formal software development lifecycle from requirements through testing.
- Experience developing and debugging software for real-time embedded operating systems such as VxWorks or Embedded Linux.
- Experience with hands-on software/hardware integration and testing, customer or stakeholder interaction, and deriving software design and test specifications from system requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of War Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include board bring-up, FPGA and board-design interfacing, Electronic Warfare or Radar software, digital signal processing, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, LabView, QT Creator, Agile development, and managing scope for a software-centric technical team.
