Base Salary
$160k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Influence the technical direction for infrastructure and platform capabilities.
- Architect and evolve cloud infrastructure across various services.
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to design robust systems.
- Define and drive infrastructure strategy for the Platform organization.
- Secure networking, identity, and access patterns across environments.
- Improve reliability by defining SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
- Lead blameless post-incident reviews and implement systemic improvements.
- Own observability and monitoring strategy across logging and metrics.
- Mentor engineers and guide architecture decisions.
- Partner with security stakeholders to meet compliance requirements.
- Advocate for developer experience improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on infrastructure/platform development experience.
- Deep expertise with AWS and/or GCP.
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language, preferably Python.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Solid Linux fundamentals and debugging skills.
- Experience leading complex, cross-team initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical partners.
- Data-informed decision-making approach.
