Responsibilities
- Own the automation platform, tooling, services, and pipelines beneath VLSI infrastructure.
- Design and build reliable internal services and command-line tooling for design and infrastructure engineers.
- Create event-driven source-control automation for repository events, workspace health, and client mappings.
- Own CI, release, and deployment mechanics for internal tooling.
- Instrument systems for observability and debugging.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team on automation supporting batch job submission.
- Convert recurring manual infrastructure work into production services and reduce operational load.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure software engineering.
- Strong Python software-engineering skills, including production-quality and tested code.
- Experience automating source-control management at scale, preferably with Perforce or alternatively Git, including APIs and event streams.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins, and with container-based packaging and deployment.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and shell fluency.
- Experience building and operating internal developer platforms or engineering tooling.
- Familiarity with batch compute environments and engineering workload submission, tracking, and debugging.
- Semiconductor/EDA or HPC experience is a plus.
