Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive wallet projects from vision through implementation.
- Design new features, user interfaces, and end-to-end wallet experiences.
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and data models.
- Develop applications and integrations for Freighter and its supporting open-source libraries and services.
- Engage with the open-source community and industry partners across projects and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing software as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Experience writing server applications with languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Proficiency writing client applications with languages such as TypeScript, Swift, or Dart.
- Ability to build reusable, extensible, and modular components using sound software design patterns.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- A product mindset and passion for understanding and designing for user needs.
- Blockchain technology experience is a bonus.
- Wallet or financial application experience is a bonus.
- Open-source contribution experience is a bonus.
- Specific Go and TypeScript experience is a bonus.
