Responsibilities
- Lead the feature team through requirements refinement, solution design, implementation, testing, release, and production support.
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, clean, well-tested software across user interfaces, services, and databases.
- Define and evolve component architecture and contribute to department-wide and bank-wide architectural decisions.
- Develop and maintain highly automated Continuous Delivery pipelines and support rapid, incremental software delivery.
- Provide third-line production support and participate in on-call responsibilities.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment.
Requirements
- Proven software engineering experience with a hands-on technical leadership background.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.
- Practical experience building data engineering solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, PHP, Redis, Elasticsearch, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with keystores, SSL certificate generation, gateways, and Apigee.
- Experience with automated testing and agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, microservices, GraphQL, REST, and synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication.
- Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle 10G or higher, PostgreSQL, and Liquibase database automation.
- Ability to read and safely evolve unfamiliar legacy PHP codebases.
- Ability to use AI tools to solve business problems while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
