Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, development, optimization, testing, and deployment of SAP CRM solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
- Own large, cross-functional development initiatives from requirements and technical design through implementation.
- Design and deliver integrations involving SAP PO/PI, RFC/BAPI, IDoc, OData, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise platforms.
- Support and operate business-critical SAP CRM production systems, including incident management, SLA adherence, system monitoring, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, deliver permanent fixes, and manage approved production changes.
- Monitor batch jobs, interface queues, workflows, and HANA performance.
- Integrate LLM APIs and build MCP servers exposing SAP CRM cases, RMAs, and customer data as AI-consumable tools and resources.
- Apply AIOps techniques for ticket triage, incident pattern recognition, and LLM-assisted root-cause analysis.
- Apply responsible AI practices including PII masking, hallucination guardrails, and AI interaction audit logging.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners, functional consultants, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on ABAP and ABAP on HANA development experience.
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP CRM, including Case Management and RMA/Service Orders.
- Strong ABAP on HANA skills, including CDS Views, AMDP, code push-down, and HANA data modeling; Calculation Views and HANA procedures are a plus.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Gateway, and OData service development.
- Experience integrating SAP CRM with Identity Management, BI and Analytics, and third-party systems.
- Hands-on experience with RFC/BAPI, IDoc, SOAP, and REST Web Services.
- Experience with SAP PO for interface development, monitoring, and error reprocessing is a plus.
- Experience supporting business-critical production SAP CRM systems, conducting root-cause analysis, managing SLAs, and delivering permanent fixes.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and building MCP servers.
- Experience with AIOps techniques and responsible AI practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree with 8+ years of relevant SAP CRM experience.
