Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance DLP engines, dictionary compilers, and distributed incident-processing pipelines in production C systems.
- Own the technical direction and architectural roadmap for pattern matching, regular expression evaluation, dictionary compilation, EDM, and IDM capabilities.
- Develop DLP solutions using ML models and integrate them into high-throughput, latency-sensitive data paths with data science teams.
- Design multithreaded C daemons, shared-memory structures, IPC, lockless concurrency, and memory-safe subsystems on FreeBSD and Linux.
- Lead technical escalation for production issues through core dump analysis, system profiling, leak detection, and post-mortems.
- Mentor and guide systems software engineers, conduct design reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems software engineering experience with technical leadership in designing and delivering high-performance backend platforms.
- Advanced hands-on C programming experience on Linux or FreeBSD, with deep expertise in IPC and shared-memory architectures.
- Expert production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis experience using core dump analysis, GDB or LLDB, Valgrind, and system-level performance tracing.
- Foundational understanding of AI and ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
- Experience mentoring and guiding systems software engineers and leading architectural and design decisions.
- Preferred: familiarity with DLP technologies, regex evaluation engines, custom dictionary compilers, EDM, and IDM profiles.
- Preferred: experience with AWS and Azure for deploying, optimizing, or maintaining performance-intensive cloud-native systems.
- Preferred: ability to use AI technologies and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
