Base Salary
$55k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal R&D in AI, autonomous systems, edge systems, or modeling and simulation.
- Conduct research and write software using relevant programming languages and technical approaches.
- Develop breakthrough technical solutions for complex client and prospective-client problems.
- Produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Collaborate with teammates and receive mentorship from senior leaders.
- Apply Booz Allen products and engagement models to technical problem-solving.
Requirements
- Be a highly technical STEM student scheduled to obtain a bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028.
- Have experience with one or more of Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Assembly, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Have experience with object-oriented programming.
- Have experience in AI/ML, autonomous systems, edge systems, modeling and simulation, or AR/VR graphics immersion.
- Have experience conducting research and writing software.
- Be able to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with agentic AI, MCP, A2A, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LLM-based RAG, robotics, ROS, computer vision, TCP/IP, sensor data streams, world models, GPUs, Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, or NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Preferred qualifications include excellent critical-thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
