Responsibilities
- Fix bugs and issues across familiar and unfamiliar codebases.
- Architect and independently build incremental software additions while contributing to larger solutions with architectural guidance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex coding problems, including race conditions, cross-threading, and intermittent data issues.
- Own the quality, maintenance, performance, scalability, and secure delivery of produced software.
- Champion best practices for AI-augmented development and help define use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Work with business stakeholders to design solutions for the Pharmaceutical TMF domain.
- Support third-line investigations and help shape the new Poland engineering team with the Lead Software Engineer.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, and Visual Studio.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, unit testing, and REST web services.
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern UI frameworks.
- Exposure to Azure or other cloud PaaS services, containerization, and distributed scalable solutions.
- Experience evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development tools in security-conscious, regulated engineering environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of GCP and/or Trial Master File systems is preferred but not essential.
