Responsibilities
- Engage in technical decision-making and custom development for data processing.
- Develop and automate large-scale, high-performance distributed data processing systems.
- Advocate for high-quality software engineering practices.
- Contribute to defining shared data engineering tool standards.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE/CIS or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Scala, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Data Lake, Spark, Flink, DBT, Spring Boot, Hadoop, BigQuery, and Snowflake is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of real-time and batch processing systems.
- Experience with working data at PB scale.
