Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices in testing, observability, and delivery.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems, support SLA compliance, and contribute to incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Draft architectural and design documentation and evaluate emerging technologies for adoption.
- Refactor and extend the existing codebase to fix defects and add features while favoring configurable, durable systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing secure, standards-compliant software across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency with several of C#, .NET, and SQL, plus hands-on cloud-platform experience.
- Experience with Azure native services including APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, along with container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Understanding of OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications, event-driven systems, and microservice architecture.
- Hands-on experience with observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Deep knowledge of Git, security best practices in financial services, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and iterative delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech or embedded-finance experience, partner-onboarding and SLA-management familiarity, and open-source or technical-publication contributions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and meet the stated location requirement.
