Base Salary

$180k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability and scalability of the platform’s core cloud and FedRAMP infrastructure.
  • Build monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational tooling that supports rapid incident response.
  • Partner with product teams to incorporate reliability into new features and drive operational excellence.
  • Automate infrastructure and recurring operational work using infrastructure-as-code and software tools.
  • Lead incident response, conduct blameless postmortems, and implement systemic improvements.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects through incremental deliverables while assessing risks and communicating tradeoffs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building and operating production systems at scale for real customers.
  • Deep experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages for building tools and automation.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong systems thinking and understanding of component interactions and cascading failures.
  • Deep observability experience, including instrumentation, dashboards, and meaningful alerting.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills for explaining complex systems and driving incident alignment.
  • Preferred experience with AI/ML infrastructure or production LLM serving.
  • Preferred background in security-focused environments or compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or FedRAMP.
  • Preferred experience building developer platforms or internal tooling.
  • Preferred familiarity with identity systems and protocols including SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
  • Open-source or engineering-community contributions are a plus.
