Responsibilities

Shape the technical strategy of the Identity Security Fabric and prioritize open standards such as IPSIE.
Implement the Discover, Onboard, Protect, and Govern maturity model across full-stack systems.
Architect systems that discover and secure human and non-human agents, including Shadow AI assets.
Enforce least-privilege access through Agent Gateways and short-lived credentials.
Drive adoption of AI-native development practices across design, review, and software delivery.
Prioritize technical debt and improve CI/CD, observability, documentation, reliability, and support processes.
Partner with Product and Design to own customer outcomes.
Mentor peer engineers and raise the team’s technical bar.

Deep expertise building reliable, secure, enterprise-grade software using Java or another type-safe programming language.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including the ability to contribute to frontend development.
Proven experience defining scalable backend architectures and integrating complex APIs with modern web technologies.
Strong understanding of web authentication and authorization fundamentals and secure handling of sensitive user data.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and experience designing and operating large-scale services on AWS.
Ability to apply AI meaningfully across the software development lifecycle, evaluate AI tooling, and establish team practices.
Preferred experience leading engineering teams through changes in AI adoption, developer tooling, or engineering culture.
Preferred experience building or maintaining publicly released SDKs for external developers.
Experience with Identity and Access Management tooling and zero-to-one startup-like teams is preferred.
