Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered tools for authors, including narrative copilots and visual storyboarding assistants.
- Automate repetitive internal workflows and enhance user experience across Reedsy products.
- Build internal AI development tools, evaluation benchmarks, and automated testing capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and execute high-impact AI opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience integrating AI/ML into real-world products and owning the lifecycle from modeling and evaluation through deployment and go-to-market execution.
- Experience with large language models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model selection, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom chaining frameworks.
- Knowledge of hallucination detection and mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and scalable AI deployment.
- Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with AI developer tooling such as Cursor, intelligent CI/CD, and AI-powered QA.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a bonus.
