Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end IT/OT solution architectures connecting operational systems, industrial edge technologies, enterprise platforms, and cloud services.
- Design integration and interoperability strategies using OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, event-driven architectures, and Unified Namespace.
- Provide technical leadership and design assurance to engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Develop reusable architecture patterns, standards, and industrial data models.
- Coordinate architecture decisions across OT, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and data domains.
- Design resilient industrial data solutions with contextualisation, transformation, store-and-forward capabilities, and recovery mechanisms.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and OT environments, including PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, historians, OT networking, and live production systems.
- Proven solution architecture experience across OT, edge, enterprise, data, and cloud environments.
- Expertise in integration technologies and patterns such as OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure industrial data solutions.
- Strong consulting, communication, technical leadership, workshop facilitation, architecture documentation, and design assurance skills.
- Ability to coordinate engineers and specialists across OT, cloud, data, and cybersecurity domains.
