Responsibilities
- Prepare technical design specifications with product management and architecture stakeholders.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and planning across engineering initiatives.
- Design, implement, enhance, and scale software systems and applications.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and support technical conversations across teams.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
- Contribute to cloud, DevOps, AI modernization, automation, and engineering toolchain initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and system implementation.
- Fluency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Experience with application monitoring, performance assessment, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Understanding of security architecture and protocols including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth is preferred.
