Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support scalable full-stack applications and platform services end to end.
- Develop custom AI agents for workflow automation, decision support, summarization, and multi-step reasoning.
- Integrate AI services, LLMs, embeddings, search technologies, and external tools through secure and scalable APIs.
- Build and maintain MCP-based integrations connecting AI models, tools, and business systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices while maintaining code quality, architectural integrity, security, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Harden AI components for 24x7 critical manufacturing systems, including reliability, resiliency, performance, security, permissions, data boundaries, observability, and maintainability.
- Lead architecture reviews, code quality initiatives, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of full-stack or backend software development experience.
- Strong expertise in API design, service integration, data persistence, and production-grade application development.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and storage architecture design.
- Experience designing and deploying AI-enabled solutions, including AI agents, RAG systems, prompt engineering, AI tool integration, and evaluation of AI reliability, security, and failure modes.
- Preferred: 7+ years building and scaling enterprise-grade distributed applications in cloud environments.
- Preferred: expertise with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred: experience with MCP integrations, AI agent skills, tool invocation frameworks, and multi-agent workflows.
- Preferred: deep understanding of prompt engineering, context management, AI workflow optimization, and interoperability among AI models, tools, and agents.
- Preferred: experience architecting highly available, secure, and resilient systems and leading architecture reviews, code quality initiatives, and engineering best practices.
