Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable enterprise applications and modern web applications using Java and related frameworks.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Deploy, monitor, secure, and design cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Use AWS Glue for data integration, ETL processing, and large-scale data transformation.
- Analyze and visualize large datasets to identify patterns and improve application architecture and coding hygiene.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Contribute to software development lifecycle automation, operational stability, resiliency, and secure engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Expertise with AWS cloud services, including deployment, monitoring, security, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with AWS Glue, data integration, ETL processing, and large-scale data transformation.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.
- AWS Certification such as Solutions Architect or Developer is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
