Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade Java applications and services.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable microservices-based solutions.
- Develop reusable, maintainable code and RESTful APIs with system integrations.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design reviews, architectural decisions, and Agile delivery ceremonies.
- Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and security across applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development lifecycle processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Experience with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, Hibernate, JPA, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude AI.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving.
- Preferred: familiarity with Angular, React, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Preferred: experience in Agile/Scrum environments and relevant Java development or cloud technology certifications.
