Responsibilities
- Analyze client and software requirements and convert them into feasible designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases, including automated software validation.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and improve software performance and availability.
- Evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Prepare code, documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, reports, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with developers, project managers, engineering staff, functional teams, systems analysts, and clients.
- Capture client requirements and clarifications, provide solutions and support, and gather feedback.
- Ensure code quality, compliance with project standards, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on programming languages and best practices.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of technical programming concepts, programming languages, tools, quality management standards, and processes.
- Competence in leveraging current and upcoming technology, including automation, tools, and systems.
- Ability to follow process standards, produce consistent results, and reduce operational risk.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design software solutions, write and review code, and conduct software testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, perform root cause analysis, document solutions, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage project reporting, customer interactions, status updates, and timely delivery.
- Willingness to complete certifications and continuing education to develop technical skills.
