Responsibilities
- Develop integration components and workflows using Azure Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Build and expose APIs using Azure API Management and configure API policies for authentication, transformations, routing, and basic security controls.
- Write integration code involving APIs, messaging, and data transformations, and implement reusable integration patterns under guidance.
- Perform unit and integration testing, debug issues in development and test environments, and implement fixes across integration layers.
- Work with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions pipelines for version control, build, deployment, and CI/CD execution.
- Convert low-level design specifications into working code and maintain technical documentation, interface mappings, and configuration records.
- Implement logging, tracing, and error handling using Cribl, and assist with monitoring and production issue resolution.
- Use GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot for code generation, optimization, debugging support, and learning.
- Collaborate with senior developers, leads, QA, and DevOps teams in delivery projects, including code reviews and sprint activities.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on development experience.
- Practical experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Understanding and implementation experience with APIs and Azure API Management basics.
- Solid coding skills in C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Git-based workflows and pipelines.
- Basic understanding of messaging, APIs, and system integrations.
- Active use of GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot in development tasks.
- Preferred exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
- Preferred understanding of event-driven architectures and awareness of performance, security, and API best practices.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification is optional; Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) is also listed as a preferred certification.
