Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop enterprise integrations with Apache Camel and integration patterns.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines and containerize applications with Docker for Kubernetes deployment.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and SSO integrations using identity providers and OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Design event-driven architectures and asynchronous workflows using messaging and MQ platforms.
- Configure API Gateway solutions and integrate with message brokers.
- Monitor application health, logs, and performance and implement observability practices.
- Optimize APIs, database interactions, JVM settings, and system resources.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss concerns with support teams.
- Fluency in English and flexibility to support the business during extended hours.
- Preferred knowledge of investment banking and derivatives markets.
- Preferred knowledge of large language models such as ChatGPT and Claude, agentic AI workflows, intelligent automation solutions, and Model Context Protocol servers.
