Base Salary
$184k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build application experiences.
- Implement custom user interfaces using current programming techniques and technologies.
- Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and participate in code reviews.
- Set team direction, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and onboard team members.
- Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
- Resolve performance and scalability issues and reduce technical debt.
- Work across a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Own components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant programming experience, or 4+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Programming experience in a relevant language.
- Experience driving organizational change and leading complex technical projects.
- Experience using data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
- Preferred: a master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with inference infrastructure, model evaluations, agent runtimes, synthetic data generation, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, information retrieval, NLP, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and responsible AI practices.
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and produce measurable impact.
Benefits
- Base salary of $183,997/year to $257,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
