Responsibilities
- Build experiences for Perk’s group travel and events product.
- Shape product direction and contribute to quarterly goals and long-term vision with Product and Engineering Managers.
- Write technical design documents and guide platform changes.
- Identify technical investments, manage technical debt, and uphold engineering quality.
- Lead cross-squad initiatives and communicate complex technical ideas across teams.
- Collaborate with architects on solution discovery and contribute to engineering guilds.
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to less experienced engineers.
- Help raise engineering standards through design reviews, pairing sessions, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Senior-level frontend engineering capability with the ability to shape product problems and technical solutions.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives across teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to contribute to architecture, design documentation, technical quality, and technical debt management.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers is expected for the senior role.
