Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a shared DevOps platform supporting software development, systems engineering, integration, and testing.
- Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines and modular Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations across cloud platforms.
- Automate configuration and infrastructure management within Kubernetes and support cloud networking, DNS, TLS, and ingress/egress routing.
- Maintain and harden cloud base images and perform security, risk, vulnerability, and corrective-action assessments.
- Validate Information Assurance Controls and validation procedures in accordance with DoD guidelines, CNSSI 1253, and NIST 800 publications.
- Perform validation, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and technical assessments for DevSecOps engineering efforts.
- Document cloud processes and services for application development teams and collaborate on customer-relevant technical documentation.
- Research quality-review problems, develop solutions, improve system offerings, and coordinate delivery against quality and schedule targets.
Requirements
- At least six years of relevant systems or software experience, including experience in at least three specified systems, software, administration, assurance, analysis, development-environment, or documentation areas.
- At least two years of related IT experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering, CI/CD, build and release, SRE, operations engineering, systems integration engineering, or cloud administration.
- High school diploma or GED and technical training in information technology or software application development.
- U.S. citizenship and a minimum active interim DoD Secret clearance, favorable T3 equivalent investigation, or ability to obtain a favorable T5 equivalent investigation.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification meeting at least DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II requirements, or ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience evaluating or assessing systems in government cloud environments using DevSecOps and continuous security practices.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience with Docker and Rancher, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Fargate, or similar container orchestration tools.
- Experience automating infrastructure and developing or managing continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab, HashiCorp Vault, Argo CD, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Amazon EKS, and DISA STIGs.
