Responsibilities
- Design and build Kubernetes controllers, operators, and CRDs in Golang to orchestrate and secure storage workloads.
- Implement Kubernetes Network Policies, OpenShift Security Context Constraints, Multi-Category Security, and container security controls.
- Build image scanning, signing, policy enforcement, runtime threat detection, compliance monitoring, and network policy functionality.
- Drive compliance with Kubernetes and Linux CIS benchmarks, FIPS, and zero-trust guidelines.
- Solve performance, scalability, and resiliency challenges in large-scale distributed systems and storage platforms.
- Lead architectural reviews, establish secure coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years building scalable distributed systems, cloud platforms, or security infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Golang and Kubernetes internals, including Operators, Controllers, Cluster API, NetworkPolicies, SCCs, MCS, and related security primitives.
- Practical understanding of distributed block, file, and object storage, data replication, deduplication, and high availability.
- Strong Linux OS internals, networking, container runtime, and kernel security module experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
