Base Salary
$114k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead testing of large-scale systems and create test plans and test cases.
- Develop and execute manual, automated, white-box, and black-box tests for distributed software systems using Java and Shell Scripts.
- Design and build automated test cases for mobile device graphical user interfaces using VNC Robot and Java.
- Document and coordinate deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
- Test mobile device development kits and device frameworks.
- Consult with project management and development teams on planning, developing, implementing, and modifying testing procedures.
- Provide detailed status reports covering test cases executed, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed.
- Drive continuous improvements to quality assurance processes and collaborate across the development and testing lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or three years of relevant experience as an equivalent substitution.
- At least one year of experience in the offered job or as a Programmer/Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer, or related occupation.
- At least one year of experience developing tests for large-scale software systems using Java or Shell Scripts in Windows, UNIX, or Linux environments.
- At least one year of experience documenting and coordinating deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
