Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies aligned with product vision, customer use cases, and release quality standards.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks that scale regression testing across the Alexa device ecosystem.
- Execute manual and automated tests against developed test plans before customer release.
- Use AI-powered testing tools to identify issues and streamline debugging and triage.
- Debug, diagnose, troubleshoot, and help fix defects in complex production software.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to improvements in toolchains, automation capabilities, testing methodologies, and release processes.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, and User Experience design teams on feature testing and quality goals.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex production software issues.
- Preferred: knowledge of system architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, and database environments.
- Preferred: experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services.
