Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate systems that enable safe, predictable, and fast mobile application releases.
- Build and improve release pipelines, automated quality gates, testing-enforcement systems, and release-health monitoring.
- Develop automation, tooling, frameworks, shift-left checks, AI-based test execution, and automated release signals.
- Own features and components from design through implementation, testing, production operation, and incident resolution.
- Investigate release incidents, identify root causes, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of system signals.
- Partner with TPMs and mobile engineering teams and mentor more junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing.
- Preferred experience building automation tools for development, testing, releasing, or monitoring.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML technologies.
