Base Salary
$121k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and regression suites for hardware-in-the-loop verification.
- Create data-driven test sequences, verify results against pass/fail criteria, and debug automation failures.
- Maintain and enhance the test automation framework under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support production-line automation deployment, training materials, and knowledge transfer.
- Document scripts, test coverage, and framework usage.
- Coordinate with EGSE Software Engineers on software interfaces and tool updates.
- Track automation anomalies and support disposition and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation, software-in-the-loop, or hardware test scripting in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics.
- Proficiency in Python and experience developing automated test scripts that interface with hardware.
- Experience with spacecraft or satellite test development, execution, hardware qualification, or acceptance testing.
- Ability to debug test-script failures and trace root causes to hardware or software issues.
- Familiarity with data bus protocols or hardware interface standards used in automated testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to document scripts and test coverage clearly.
- Preferred experience includes spacecraft or launch-vehicle test automation, GSEOS, COSMOS, LabVIEW, NI TestStand, PyTest, MATLAB, C++, requirements verification, test traceability, and laboratory testing.
