Base Salary

$82k - $172k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated testing for cloud-based software architectures in an RF environment.
  • Create interfaces and execute manual and automated acceptance, functional, regression, and API tests.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, procedures, and requirements verification traceability matrices.
  • Identify, document, track, verify, and assess software defects with clear reproduction details.
  • Analyze test outcomes and communicate risks, opportunities, findings, and actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software developers, RF hardware engineers, system designers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to testing process improvements, test automation frameworks, applications, quality metrics, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test artifacts, results, procedures, and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience is required.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Bruno and Postman is required.
  • Experience with API testing, acceptance testing, and functional testing is required.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Linux is required.
  • Proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD workflow processes is required.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is required.
  • Strong documentation skills for manual test cases, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test plans are required.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD is desired.
  • Experience executing manual and automated acceptance, functional, regression, and API tests is desired.
  • Ability to balance quality assurance, testing, and development activities with project timelines and deliverables is desired.
