Base Salary
$83k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering functionality, performance, and security.
- Design and maintain data test cases, reconciliation checks, test data sets, and expected results.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, formats, transformations, and business-rule compliance across source and target systems.
- Document data defects with queries, evidence, expected and actual results, and reproducible conditions; track issues through resolution and retest.
- Identify new automation capabilities and deliver automation development scenarios.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required; a polygraph is preferred.
- At least five years of software testing experience with a record of delivering high-quality test results.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with scripting languages and environments such as Python and Linux, including command-line work and processing large data sets.
- Experience with REST API testing, including response validation and negative or error-path testing.
- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar workflow processes.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, ArgoCD, Linux/Red Hat, microservices, and automated integration testing is desired.
- Strong debugging, prioritization, communication, and collaboration skills are desired.
