Base Salary
$135k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Capture requirements, negotiate scope, and deliver software and automation work aligned with program milestones.
- Design and implement production automation for test instruments.
- Work with avionics hardware engineers to understand instrument behavior and define test sequencing with test engineers.
- Architect and extend automated test execution frameworks.
- Implement check logic, pass/fail criteria, limit management, and structured report generation for acceptance and qualification test campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software coding and engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Python, including preferred mastery-level Python programming.
- Proven experience developing software on a Red Hat operating system.
- Experience with socket programming, UDP/TCP, command transport, packet capture, and packet parsing.
- Discipline with Git workflows and CI/CD.
- Preferred: familiarity with avionics test environments and automated test equipment.
- Preferred: knowledge of acceptance and qualification testing in an aerospace hardware development lifecycle.
- Preferred: familiarity with Processor-in-Loop design and deployment for testing.
- Preferred: self-starter who is highly proactive.
