Base Salary

$135k - $189k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Capture requirements, negotiate scope, and deliver software deliverables with internal customers to meet program milestones.
  • Design and implement production-quality software drivers for test instruments.
  • Work with avionics hardware engineers to understand instrument behavior, define operating envelopes, and validate driver correctness against hardware specifications.
  • Architect and extend automated test execution frameworks.
  • Implement check logic, pass/fail criteria, limit management, and structured report generation for acceptance and qualification test campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional software coding and engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Python or C++.
  • Proven experience developing software on Linux.
  • Experience with socket programming, UDP/TCP, command transport, packet capture and parsing, network reliability handling, and network configuration.
  • Hands-on experience writing hardware interface software and instrument drivers.
  • Experience with Git workflow discipline and CI/CD.
  • Preferred: familiarity with avionics test environments and automated test equipment.
  • Preferred: knowledge of acceptance and qualification test processes in an aerospace hardware development lifecycle.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Processor-in-Loop design and deployment for testing.
