Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deliver new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through detailed evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement application systems and programs using advanced application programming knowledge.
- Design and build microservices and event-driven distributed architectures.
- Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Ensure application designs align with the overall architecture blueprint.
- Analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while supporting compliance and safeguarding company and client assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 6–10 years of hands-on application development experience.
- Strong experience with Core Java 11/17 and J2EE.
- Experience with microservices architecture using Spring Boot and event-driven distributed systems.
- Expertise with REST and SOAP web services, design patterns, concurrency frameworks, Kafka, data structures and collections, and Docker.
- Expert-level SQL skills and basic Python knowledge.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- OpenShift, Angular 14, cloud platform, and CI/CD pipeline experience are preferred.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
