Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Review code from other engineers and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Optimize large-scale systems, build infrastructure, automate operational work, and monitor reliability, uptime, capacity, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Benefits
- Germany base pay of €106000–€108000 per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
