Base Salary

$155k - $253k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of new features in trading strategies and the overall trading stack.
  • Identify and resolve stability issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
  • Partner with desk quants and traders to deliver valuable trading-strategy changes.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and core platform engineering teams to deliver and improve common solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong Java skills are required.
  • Experience developing high-performance and/or low-latency applications is required.
  • Proficiency developing electronic trading systems is required.
  • Familiarity with Python 3 and KDB is beneficial.
  • Experience with modern continuous software delivery patterns is helpful.
  • Applicants should have a proven record of delivering technical solutions into production and be able to deliver complex features independently and collaboratively.
  • A solid grounding in computer engineering principles is expected; a technical degree is preferred.
