Base Salary
$155k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of new features in trading strategies and the overall trading stack.
- Identify and resolve stability issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
- Partner with desk quants and traders to deliver valuable trading-strategy changes.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and core platform engineering teams to deliver and improve common solutions.
Requirements
- Strong Java skills are required.
- Experience developing high-performance and/or low-latency applications is required.
- Proficiency developing electronic trading systems is required.
- Familiarity with Python 3 and KDB is beneficial.
- Experience with modern continuous software delivery patterns is helpful.
- Applicants should have a proven record of delivering technical solutions into production and be able to deliver complex features independently and collaboratively.
- A solid grounding in computer engineering principles is expected; a technical degree is preferred.
