Base Salary

$118k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate software solutions for aircraft and other mission platforms.
  • Develop high-fidelity simulation and environment software and toolsets for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Resolve technical problems for the company and suppliers using analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Deliver improved weapon-system capabilities through engineering analysis and software development.
  • Improve engineering processes and tools and document practices for replication and scaling.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts across software, hardware, operational analysis, and flight simulation.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python software development.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on projects using software development methodologies.
  • Preferred: a relevant technical bachelor’s degree in fields including computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
  • Preferred: 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Level 4 consideration.
  • Preferred: experience with embedded real-time software, models and simulation, aircraft Operational Flight Program software, RTOS, OOAD, Agile software development, open architecture constructs, software architecture, configuration management, collaboration tools, and technical or project leadership.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start, and the U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship.
