Responsibilities
- Modernize and implement core engineering applications for rights management, contract administration, royalty processing, and global licensing.
- Build maintainable, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve system quality, scale, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams on technical requirements, integrations, and data engineering.
- Own end-to-end team deliverables, processes, and execution.
- Write code, conduct code reviews, and help establish engineering best practices.
- Respond to incidents and participate in on-call duties while driving root-cause improvements.
- Write design documents, review peers’ design documents, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience working with Java and strong full-stack experience.
- Strong experience with relational databases and data model design.
- Experience building projects with good abstractions and clean architecture.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Experience writing design documents and serving as a design reviewer.
- Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
