Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate an agentic application security program with integrated testing and automated security review.
- Drive end-to-end vulnerability remediation, tracking findings to closure against SLAs.
- Eliminate classes of vulnerabilities by implementing secure defaults and framework-level fixes.
- Lead threat modeling and security reviews for new features, engaging with product engineers early in the design process.
- Tune and evolve the program's signal quality to reduce false positives and improve feedback.
- Stay updated on the vulnerability landscape relevant to fintech and implement necessary program changes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of security engineering experience with a focus on application security.
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools and CI/CD integration.
- Genuine enthusiasm for building with LLMs and AI agents for automating security tasks.
- Software engineering skills to make precise changes in a production codebase.
- Experience driving remediation through teams without direct management.
- Product empathy to shape security feedback that engineers will act on.
