Responsibilities
- Evaluate cybersecurity functionality of products and improve their security posture.
- Fulfill cybersecurity compliance requirements for products.
- Perform threat modeling and security assessments.
- Harden operating systems and network devices to permit only functions necessary for product operation.
- Verify cybersecurity functionality on control-system components.
- Participate in product vulnerability handling.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Automate cybersecurity activities using Python, PowerShell, and Batch scripts.
- Provide training and mentoring while collaborating across cultures and functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in engineering.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles including cybersecurity architecture, defense in depth, default deny, least privilege, compartmentalization, privileged initiation, and AAA.
- Understanding of cybersecurity controls including host and network IDS/IPS, hardening, security policies, malware protection, filtering, and NGFW.
- Knowledge of networking and patch management.
- Hands-on experience with HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SSH, ICMP, DHCP, L2TP, PPTP, DNS, SNMP, RDP, and NTP.
- Experience with Windows and virtual-machine administration.
- Experience with NMAP, Nessus, Wireshark, and similar security tools.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 and ISO 27001 security standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, collaboration, ownership, responsibility, intercultural sensitivity, and ability to learn new technologies.
- MCP, MCITP, MCSE, CEH, CISSP, or CISA certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge of IEC 61850, Goose, and Modbus protocols is advantageous.
- Training and mentoring skills are advantageous.
