Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack ePrime components across Angular, Java Spring, and SQL.
- Modernize legacy components into containerized microservices deployed on OpenShift.
- Deliver solutions meeting business, regulatory, security, control, stability, capacity, and maintainability requirements.
- Apply code reviews, test automation, TDD, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, alerting, and production-readiness practices.
- Partner directly with SBL traders and middle office to convert desk needs into technical designs and production-ready solutions.
- Support intraday trading operations through incident triage, rapid tactical fixes, and strategic enhancements.
- Contribute to Magics architecture, modernization strategy, and ecosystem integration.
- Manage relationships with upstream and downstream systems, vendor gateways, and internal control functions.
- Guide technical direction, coach less experienced specialists, and advise senior stakeholders on complex functional and cross-functional issues.
Requirements
- Full-stack engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, SQL, and advanced query optimization.
- Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience delivering cloud-native systems with OpenShift, containers, Linux, and Git.
- Strong object-oriented design, complex-system refactoring, Agile/Scrum, and test-driven development experience.
- Deep Stock Borrow & Lending or Equity Finance experience covering borrowing and lending workflows, recalls, returns, marks, collateral, booking flows, lifecycle events, and vendor gateway interactions.
- Working knowledge of capital markets and front-office trading processes.
- Ability to diagnose production issues quickly and deliver tactical and strategic fixes in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and risk-and-controls skills.
- Preferred experience with event-driven architecture, caching, Kafka, Solace, workflow automation, inventory or funding optimization, observability tooling, scalable distributed systems, DevOps, and the Prime Financing ecosystem.
