Base Salary
$73k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
- Deploy new features and maintain system stability in collaboration with the DevOps team.
- Write robust test suites and apply software standards to produce maintainable software.
- Debug, refactor, and reimplement existing codebases on new systems and platforms.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate across teams of engineers, product owners, and scrum masters.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java or C#.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and processes.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ypsilanti, MI.
- Preferred qualifications include strong backend engineering experience and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, Spring, AWS, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Webpack, and continuous integration and continuous development pipelines.
