Base Salary

$101k - $162k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer IT architectures to scope technical projects, recommend system improvements, and complete security evaluations and architecture reviews.
  • Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites while communicating progress with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify integration opportunities between cloud and on-premises agency systems and Axon products, then recommend deployment plans.
  • Capture requirements, implement and evaluate third-party solutions, document technical capabilities, and collaborate with developers to build, test, and deploy integrations.
  • Build and document integrations and support requirements with the Director of Integrations and development teams.
  • Write code using API capabilities to optimize repetitive implementation tasks and work with DevOps to merge the resulting code.
  • Coordinate with account management, product, engineering, sales, project, and agency stakeholders to meet customer needs and outcomes.
  • Ensure high-quality Axon software deployments and customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions.
  • Expert networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video, and Video Management Systems, plus experience managing technical implementations and integrations.
  • Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks and containerization platforms, with Docker preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud technologies, software development packages, data management tools, IT business processes, architecture review boards, and IT security reviews.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with APIs and systems integration, including REST and SOAP.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud technologies including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Demonstrated system-level understanding of enterprise software systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Project management experience or PMI certification is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information and maintain CJIS clearance after passing a Criminal Justice Information Services background check.
